coquitopttycomccrary,

Before you begin your website, there are many things you should take into consideration. If you already have a concept, plan, and layout for your site, you may be ready to start building your site. But in terms of design, if you are still in this stage, signing up for a web hosting account may not be necessary quite yet at this stage. Design work and layouts can be done using graphical and design software such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop. After this stage, when you are ready to start building on the web, you should sign up for a web hosting provider. However, if you are a different type of designer and enjoy designing exclusively online and as you go, you can sign up for a web hosting provider right away.

Just bear in mind when you do sign up for web hosting you need to also have a domain name which is the address on the Internet where your site will be accessed from. Some web hosting providers do offer a free domain name when you sign up.

I'd also recommend you fire up a search engine in your browser and do more research if you feel it necessary.

Thanks,
